The best gift we are all given is vision... and sometimes many of us end up wearing glasses/contacts etc. For me it's been since 7th grade. I am so excited that tomorrow morning I will be having Lasik. I can't wait. I don't even think I'm nervous, the excitement is taking over. I'm thrilled to have such a known doctor to preform my surgery. I figured if he did his eyes:
then he can do my eyes... Dr. Whitten from TLC will be doing my surgery. I am thrilled!

Trying yet again....it's crazy, I've tried to post since June 26 and it's errors after errors with typepad. Hopefully this time will work.
So since the 25th (my last post) things have been normal, just got home from a business trip to South Beach Miami, which is such a moving city. Gotta love the cuban food and of course the atmosphere is awesome.

It's been crazy... I think I start a lot of my posts that way, but honestly that's my crazy days. Counting down to going to Puerto Rico. So glad to be heading home on Thursday. The kids are so excited. I can't wait. Looking forward ot going to the beach every day, seeing family and spending some great times down there. Even though I've lost almost 23 lbs I will enjoy this trip. I have promised myself to only drink water and my daily addiction of coffee other than that, I'm going to make good choices without denying myself some little extra pleasures. We've got tons planned, I'm sure I'll be posting once we return. It's the little things, I'm looking forward to hearing the typical sounds of Puerto Rico like the coqui, which is a small tiny frog rarely seen but heard every night, making its sweet music and sounds. Just love it.
Today Zoe had a birthday party and I decided to spend some quality time with her. I took her w/ me for a pedi and she LOVED it. She did so good. Got her nails and toes painted in pink (of course), we came home and she got all dressed up for the party. So cute!

No major plans for fathers' day. Presents in the morning and then to a nice family breakfast and then just hanging out at home, just like the hubby likes it!

this little guy was just simply the cutest... baby N is just 4 months old and super happy baby.. I can't tell you how much I loved photographing him, great family. Hoping to do all of them in the fall.
Had a fantastic weekend with friends, croppin', laughing and sharing...did 16 layouts and I left feeling a mojo high! I came home and ordered these 2 kits, I thought it would be good for small projects and something about me I could do for the kids....

Just love doing maternity sessions, mommies are so happy and I think they truly glow. This was a fun session as it was a surprise from my friend T to her niece. What a pleasure to meet these two and soon to be baby M. Crossing my fingers I"ll get to photograph the newborn! :)

Tons going on, but hey those that know me know that's my crazy life. Loving my new job! The people are great. Brother's in town for the weekend, Scott decided that they should form a band and play "Rock Band" now let me explain, it became a 5 hour 'concert.'
Mom has been promising Zoe a 'bike' so off they go to Toys R Us and Z decides she wants a Dora big wheel...so happy as could be this is her 'cruising' around the neighborhood....
Now.... the next picture is a favorite of mine I took yesterday of Zoe. Sometimes I take a picture and know that it's going to be a good one, one of those that captures me. Now what captures each of us is different, but with this photo it was her true smile and deep brown eyes.
and where was Steven....well he decided to play w/ Bella on the Wii for endless hours (hiding from the camera).
on a more serious note, today is Memoria Day, to remember those that have given so much for our freedom. This is my cousin Luis who is currently in Iraq. I love him dearly and he is truly my brother. I ask that you keep him and all of the troops serving in the military in your thoughts and prayers.
